Today the schedule for the 2023 South American U-20’s Championship has been revealed. In the Group stage the 10 teams will play 4 games with only one days rest inbetween fixtures.
The tournament is set to start on the 19th of January and the final will be played on the 12th of February 2023. Meaning that the two teams that reach the final will have played a total of nine matches in just 3 weeks.
With such little rest inbetween matchdays coaches will be forced to use all of their 22 man sqaud and manage their players fitness wisely. The teams with the most depth at this tournament will have a big advantage
